Medical clinic vandalized New Years Eve in Clay County

MANCHESTER, KY - Sometime during the morning hours on December 31, 2018 a family clinic in Clay County was vandalized by one or more individuals.

The Mountain Family Practice Clinic of Manchester located in Garrard Square had to close the main entrance but made another one available and remained open in order to serve patients with scheduled appointments.

An employee discovered the damage to the front entrance at 8:00 AM Monday morning when they arrived to open the facility.  Once inside, they found more damage where a large rock had been hurled through an office window.

Clay County 911 was immediately notified and Clay County Sheriff's officers were dispatched to the scene to investigate.

It appears that he perpetrator(s) did not enter the building.

At this it is unclear as to what motive may have inspired the incident. Anyone having any information regarding this case is asked to call Clay County Dispatch at 606-598-8411.
