LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy John Wright arrested George J. McCoy age 23 of Cincinnati, Ohio on Thursday evening December 20, 2018 at approximately 6:51 PM.
The arrest occurred in London after this subject was charged on a Laurel District Court warrant of arrest charging robbery – first-degree – on charges filed by the London Police Detective Gary Proffitt alleging that this individual entered the Speedway on Ky. 192 in London on February 10, 2017 and pulled a small firearm and ordered the clerk to give him money.
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
