London, Ky. (December 12, 2018) – On Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at approximately 7:35 AM, Kentucky State Police Post 11, London received a call about a newborn baby that had been located deceased inside a trash bag on the front porch of a residence on Ham Hollow Road in Clay County.
The remains will be sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort for an autopsy.

**UPDATE**
On Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at approximately 3:30 PM, KSP Detectives developed information through an investigation and executed a search warrant at an apartment on Ham Hollow Road.
Arrested was the mother of the deceased Amber Bowling, 21, of Manchester, KY and charged with Murder / Domestic Violence and lodged in the Clay County Detention Center.
KSP Detectives are continuing the investigation.

Manchester, KY (Wednesday December 12, 2018) - Amber Bowling age 21, of Manchester, has been arrested and charged with Murder - Domestic Violence.
The arrest is reportedly in connection to the death of an infant baby found in a trash bag.
Currently, we do not have an official press release, however, WYMT Is reporting that: Police said Amber Bowling told them she gave birth on Sunday. She then allegedly put the crying baby in a trash bag and threw it over the upstairs banister of the apartment complex.
According to jail records, Bowling was booked into the Clay County Detention Center by the Kentucky State Police on Wednesday December 12, 2018 at 4:14 P.M.

The cause and time of death are pending the autopsy.
KSP Detectives are continuing the investigation. They are being assisted by Clay County Sheriff’s Office and Manchester Police Department.
