Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Capt. Kevin Berry along with Deputy Joey Robinson, Deputy Taylor McDaniel, and Deputy John Wright arrested one individual on Friday morning September 28, 2018 at approximately 9:32 AM.
The arrest occurred at Corbin Manor Apartments approximately 10 miles South of London after deputies conducted an investigation after receiving a check on the children welfare complaint at an apartment there.
When deputies arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation at that apartment they noted that it was very poor living conditions and that three small children were living there. One adult was located in the residence.
Arrested was:
Jamie Zimmerman age 21 of Corbin charged with 3 counts of wanton endangerment – second-degree. She was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

The arrests occurred at Corbin Manor Apartments approximately 10 miles South of London after deputies conducted an investigation after receiving a drug complaint at an apartment there.
When deputies arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation at that apartment they noted that it was very poor living conditions and that three small children were living there. Two adults were located in
the residence.
One of the adults was found in possession of a clear pipe that appeared to be a methamphetamine pipe. In addition, deputies located approximately 25 needles in one of the individual's possession.
The two arrested individuals were identified as:
Jamie Zimmerman age 21 of Corbin charged with 3 counts of wanton endangerment – second-degree.
Connie Burton age 54 of Corbin charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
