A Manchester resident & a 2nd individual jailed after complaint investigation

Laurel County, KY -  Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective Sgt. Chris Edwards along with Detective Gary Mehler, Lieut. Greg Poynter, Capt. Kevin Berry, and Sgt. Brett Reeves arrested two individuals on Friday afternoon August 31, 2018 at approximately 1:49 PM.

The arrests occurred off East Laurel Road, near London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint of a female subject in a vehicle passed out.

When deputies arrived at the scene they located a female subject passed out in the vehicle and following an investigation found her in possession of multiple needles and a substance believed to be crystal methamphetamine. Also this subject was found to be in possession of suspected Neurontin.

Sheriff’s detectives and deputies also conducted an investigation on a male subject who was apparently with her and was outside the vehicle.

Deputies noted that his eyes were glassy and droopy and his speech was slurred and he was unsteady on his feet.

Upon further investigation, this subject was found in possession of Suboxone wrapped in a cellophane cigarette wrapper, Gabapentin pills loose in a black zip purse, and numerous hypodermic needles. This subject stated that the hypodermic needles were because he was a type C diabetic.

The two subjects arrested were identified as:

Bobbie D. Sizemore age 29 of Pleasant Grove Loop, Manchester charged with public intoxication – controlled substances; possession of a controlled substance – 1stdegree – first offense – methamphetamine; possession of a controlled substance – second-degree; prescription controlled substances not in proper container – first offense; possession of drug paraphernalia.

George B. Robinson age 44 of Hensley Road, East Bernstadt charged with public intoxication – controlled substances; possession of a controlled substance; possession of drug paraphernalia; illegal possession of a legend drug.

These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
