Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective Sgt. Chris Edwards along with Deputy Brad Mink arrested Bailey Myrann Karr age 19 of Lily on Thursday morning July 5, 2018 at approximately 11:50 AM.
The arrest occurred off Richland Drive, approximately 7 miles south of London after deputies were notified by a social worker (who was in the area on an unrelated complaint ) that had found a two-year-old child wandering outside a residence wearing a top and nothing else and was unsupervised.
When deputies arrived at the scene they noted that the child's hands were covered in paint and she had a severe bruise on her left eye.
The child's mother was found in a residence asleep and was allegedly unaware that the child had exited the residence.
Deputies arrested Bailey Karr charging her with criminal abuse – first-degree and lodging her in the Laurel County Detention Center.
