KSP - Louisville Man Arrested for Drugs and DUI After Traffic Stop

OWENSBORO, Ky. (June 24, 2018)—A Kentucky State Police trooper conducted a traffic stop on East 2nd Street in Owensboro around midnight for a traffic violation.

During the stop, the trooper determined the driver, identified as Lamar N. Ingram, 42 of Louisville to be under the influence. When the trooper took Ingram into custody, he located a large amount of suspected crystal methamphetamine and a loaded pistol in the vehicle. Ingram was arrested and charged with:

1. Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 2nd Offense-Methamphetamine
2. Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence, 1st Offense
3. Possession of Handgun by Convicted Felon
4. Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
5. Careless Driving
6. Operating on a Suspended or Revoked Operators License

Ingram was transported and lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center in Owensboro.
