Two vehicle injury traffic crash - Laurel County

Laurel County, KY -  Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Rick Cloyd along with Deputy Josh Morgan investigated a two vehicle injury traffic crash which occurred at the intersection of Ky. 3094 and Old Richmond Road on Friday afternoon April 6, 2018 at approximately 2:04 PM.

The investigating deputies report that apparently a silver colored Nissan Altima pulled out from Old Richmond Road in front of the path of a brown colored Jeep SUV causing a collision there.

The driver of the silver Altima stated he did not see the brown colored SUV approaching. After collision, the two vehicles left the roadway traveling onto the shoulder of the roadway and coming to rest there.

The driver of the silver colored Nissan Altima was identified as: Ryan M. Hartzell age 28 of London – minor injuries – not transported

The driver of the brown colored Jeep SUV was identified as: Paul E. Carr age 77 of Mckee and passenger Joyce C. Carr age 73 also of McKee –both transported by Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County to St. Joseph Hospital London for treatment of injuries.

Assisting at the scene of the crash was East Bernstadt Volunteer Fire Department, Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County, London Laurel Rescue Squad and Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Gilbert Acciardo.
