Sheriff John Root is asking for public's help in identifying this subject
Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that on April 2nd, 2018 at approximately 6:00 AM, Deputy Brad Mink responded to Quality Suites on Adams Road in Corbin, in reference to a theft and criminal mischief complaint.
An unknown male subject created a diversion by flooding a laundry room on the 2nd floor. Once hotel staff responded to the flooding room, the male subject jumped over the counter in the lobby and used a pair of scissors to acces the cash register and stole all of the cash from the register.
Sheriff Root is asking for the public's assistance in identifying this subject. The investigation is continuing by Deputy Mink.
