Drugs and Disorderly Conduct arrests - Laurel County

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Gary Mehler along with Deputy Taylor McDaniel arrested two individuals early Sunday morning March 25, 2018 at approximately 4:13 AM.

The arrests occurred off Ky 770 approximately 9 miles south of London after deputies were dispatched to a possible domestic disturbance at a motel there.

Upon arrival at the scene deputies located 2 subjects outside a room and learned through investigation that they had allegedly been yelling and cursing while attempting to get into a room where the occupants refused to let them in.

During the investigation deputies found these two individuals in possession of Suboxone that they did not have a prescription for.

Arrested was:

Brittany N. Myers age 28 of Woodbine, Kentucky and Steven M. Myers age 29 of Corbin both charged with disorderly conduct – second-degree and possession of a controlled substance.

These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
