Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective Chris Edwards along with Deputy Bryon Lawson and Deputy Charlie Johnson investigated a single vehicle fatal traffic crash which occurred on US 25 approximately 2 miles south of London on Sunday morning March 4, 2018 at approximately 11:10 AM.
The investigators report that apparently a Cadillac Escalade was traveling southbound on US 25 when it lost control, traveled off the roadway, overturning and striking a tree .
The driver and only occupant of the vehicle was identified as: Lisa Hart age 48 of London was transported by Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County to St. Joseph Hospital London and was pronounced deceased a short time later.
Assisting at the scene was: Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County, Laurel County Volunteer Fire Department, Lily Volunteer Fire Department, London Laurel Rescue Squad, and Justin Noe with Laurel County Emergency Management.
Also assisting on the investigation was the Laurel County Coroner's office.
