Laurel Sheriff's detectives and deputies arrest 2 with meth

Sheriff John Root stated that drug investigations will be continuing

Laurel County, KY -  Sheriff John Root is reporting that:

Laurel Sheriff's Detective Jason Back along with Detective James Sizemore, Sgt. Robbie Grimes, Deputy Travis Napier, Deputy Daniel Grigsby and his K-9 "Edge" assisted by the London office of the DEA arrested two individuals off Adams Road approximately 10 miles south of London on Thursday night February 15, 2018 at approximately 11:42 PM.

The arrests occurred as a result of an ongoing drug investigation. A search warrant was obtained and executed on the vehicle the individuals were occupying.. Discovered in the vehicle there by detectives and deputies was approximately 49 grams of suspected crystal meth, a glass pipe, a set of digital scales, numerous baggies, and a bag containing fentanyl.

Arrested was:

Tara E.. Wiggins age 29 Of Sycamore St., Paris, Ky was charged with conspiracy to traffic in the controlled substance – first offense – methamphetamine; three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia; obstructing governmental operations; and resisting arrest.

Michael A. Logsdon, Jr. age 39 of Donna Reed Boulevard, Cecilia , Ky was charged with conspiracy to traffic in a controlled substance – first-degree – second offense – methamphetamine; three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – second offense.

The two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
