Three arrested in Laurel County during burglary investigation

Information was developed on possible suspects and following an investigation three persons were arrested, one charged with receiving stolen property and one arrested on an outstanding warrant and all three charged with possession of drug paraphernalia-hypodermic needles and glass pipes were recovered.

Laurel County, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective Kyle Gray along with Deputy Josh Scott arrested three individuals off Maple Grove Road, approximately 4 miles Southwest London on Tuesday afternoon January 23, 2018 at approximately 2:28 PM.

The arrests occurred after information was developed on the location of two Stihl chain saws along with other tools that were stolen during a burglary off Loveless Subdivision Road on January 12, 2018. The chainsaws were pawned locally and have been recovered.

Information was developed on possible suspects and following an investigation three persons were arrested, one charged with receiving stolen property and one arrested on an outstanding warrant and all three charged with possession of drug paraphernalia-hypodermic needles and glass pipes were recovered.

Arrested was:

  • Vicki Lynn Roark age 55 of Maple Grove Rd., London charged with receiving stolen property under $10,000 and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Kevin W. Bullock age 23 of Somerset charged with three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. In addition this subject was charged on a Carroll County bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on traffic violations
  • Michael Joseph Phillips age 25 of Richmond charged with three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia; hindering prosecution or apprehension – second-degree – this subject was outside the residence and stated no one else was in the residence – deputies located a female suspect hiding inside the residence that was being sought; public intoxication – controlled substances – this subject admitted using heroin
  • All three individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
