London, Ky. (November 29, 2017) – Members of the Kentucky National Guard will be conducting a Memorial Ruck March in honor of LTC.Jeff Cole, former 1-149 BN Commander.
The memorial ruck march will be a 72- hour event and span over the course of three days and cover approximately 200 miles in the southeastern portion of Kentucky.
The march will begin in the Post 11 district on US HWY 25 at the Madison and Rockcastle County line on Friday, December 01, 2017 at approximately 9:00 PM. The march will continue onto KY HWY461 to Somerset.
Once arriving in Somerset the march will continue on KY HWY 80 to London and from London onto US HWY 25 to Corbin arriving at approximately 9:00 PM on Saturday, December 02, 2017.
KSP is urging motorists to use extreme caution along these roads during the 24 hour period.
