Mrs. Dorothy Hoskins, age 97 departed this life on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at the Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly in London, Kentucky. She was born on Thursday, February 23, 1922 in Manchester, Kentucky to the union of Lloyd and Nancy Eleton Gibson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Providence Missionary Baptist Church where she was active in WMU and sang in the choir.
She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter: Louise Hacker, her sons: Cldye Hoskins and Jack Hoskins, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren spanning over 5 generations.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Lloyd and Nancy Gibson, her husband: Estill Hoskins, her son: Donnie Hoskins and her son-in-law: Edsel Hacker.
A celebration of life for Mrs. Dorothy Hoskins will be conducted on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Trent Pool will be presiding. She will be laid to rest next to her husband: Estill in the Cottongim Cemetery in the Cottongim Community.
The family will receive friends and loved ones after 1:30 PM on Wednesday at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
