MANCHESTER, KY - Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at approximately 1:30 PM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Dewey Grubb along with Deputy Darrell Goins and Deputy John Root arrested two individuals on Jackson Branch Road.
FRANKFORT, KY— A Louisville man, Antwan Lovelace, 27, was sentenced to 60 months in federal prison last Wednesday, by U.S. District Judge Gregory Van Tatenhove, following his conviction for possession of stolen mail.
LONDON, KY (July 21, 2022) - Sheriff John Root is reporting that on Monday, July 18, the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Interdiction Unit initiated an investigation that resulted in a seizure of approximately 1.25 pounds of crystal Methamphetamine, several hundred Fentanyl pills, small amounts of Cocaine, Heroin and Marijuana during a delivery to Laurel County.

Recently the Manchester Enterprise published an article on July 8th, 2022 entitled "Hoskins Cemetery now relocated" about the completion of moving the Hoskins Cemetery. In this article the unnamed author claimed that "all deceased persons had been moved to Memorial Gardens or 3 private cemeteries." The headstones had been collected and the one's that could be re-used at the family cemeteries would be. Markers had been ordered for the deceased being relocated to Memorial Gardens and the rest, "not being utilized are being stored by the board of education until research could be done to see who had a legal right to claim them." Lastly the article states "They will remain stored until a determination is made."
Both cases involved substantial seizures of methamphetamine in the Lexington area
LEXINGTON, KY (July 20, 2022) — The U.S. Attorney’s Office Eastern District of Kentucky is reporting that two men, in separate cases, were sentenced on Monday, by Chief U.S. District Judge Danny C. Reeves, for their roles in two conspiracies to distribute considerable amounts of crystal methamphetamine.
