LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Greg Poynter arrested Anthony L. Jones age 32 of East Bernstadt on Friday morning March 31, 2023 at approximately 10:15 AM.

LONDON, KY (April 1, 2023) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root and London City Police Chief Chuck Johnson announce that: The Laurel County “Drug Interdiction Task Force" case began on Monday, March 13, 2023 when interdiction officers approached a motel room after developing information that Joseph Baker was in the motel room with a large amount of THC products.

LONDON, KY (March 31, 2023) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root and London City Police Chief Chuck Johnson announce that: Since mid-February the Laurel County Drug Interdiction Task Force has conducted an investigation into the drug trafficking activities of Arnie Lewis on KY Highway 552 in Keavy.

UPDATE: According to the owner, the stolen trailer was recovered early Saturday morning, April 1, 2023.

LONDON, KY (March 31, 2023) - The Laurel County Sheriff's Office is reporting that Sheriff John Root is asking the public for help with locating a stolen dump trailer and identifying the involved suspects.

FREDERICK, MD (March 31, 2023)  – Maryland State Police are investigating an armed robbery, which occurred this morning in Frederick County.
