POLK COUNTY, OR - The Oregon State Police major crimes section is providing an update to the active officer involved shooting investigation in Polk County.

Monday, October 2, 2023, in conjunction with the Kentucky Opioid Abatement Advisory Commission, he announced $13.9 million in new funding to help organizations on the frontlines of the opioid epidemic. With Monday's announcement, more than $32 million has been awarded for opioid prevention, treatment, and recovery programs this year.
