BUSTED: Woman Arrested on Drug Charge in Southeast Kentucky used Daughter's Name & Social Security Number

LONDON, KY (November 30, 2020) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that : On Wednesday, November 25, 2020 Laurel Sheriff's investigators arrested six individuals while conducting drug investigations and servicing arrest warrants for receiving stolen property regarding recent burglaries and thefts in the area.

At that time an individual identifying herself as Haley Nunn age 20 of Locust Grove Rd., London was arrested off Locust Grove Road approximately 8 miles west of London after being found in a vehicle in a driveway there and found in possession of suspected Methamphetamine.

Since that arrest, information was developed that the individual identifying herself as Haley Nunn was in fact Haley Nunn's mother, Rebecca Wilson age 39 of London.

The information this individual used was her daughter's name and Social Security number.

On November 30, 2020 at 9:15 A.M. Laurel Sheriff’s Detective James Sizemore charged Rebecca Wilson with:

  • Giving officer false identifying information
  • Possession of a controlled substance first-degree first offense – Methamphetamine

This individual is lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
