Heroin/Methamphetamine Trafficking Arrests Near a Golden Corral in Kentucky

LONDON, KY (October 28, 2020) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root Along with Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Allen Turner and K-9 Deputy Jake Miller arrested two individuals on Tuesday afternoon October 27, 2020 at approximately 4:11 PM.

meth heroin 200 10 27The arrests occurred in a business parking lot off KY 192 in London while Sheriff's investigators were conducting a drug investigation and found two subjects in a white Hyundai Sonata who were in possession of:

  • A large amount of Methamphetamine
  • Heroin
  • Marijuana
  • US currency

The two arrested individuals were identified as:

The driver – Travis Creech age 36 of Sinking Creek Road, London, Ky. charged with:

  • Trafficking in a controlled substance – first offense – Heroin
  • Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – second offense – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of Marijuana

The passenger in the vehicle – Kattie French age 27 of Flatwoods Frozen Camp Road, Corbin, Ky. charged with:

  • Trafficking in a controlled substance – first offense – Heroin
  • Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – second offense – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of Marijuana

These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
