Trafficking Meth, Suboxone, Oxycodone arrest off U.S. 25 in Southeast Kentucky

LONDON, KY - (October 6, 2020) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Justin Taylor along with Shift Sgt. John Inman, Deputy Landry Collett, and Deputy Tommy Houston arrested Doreen Napier age 52 of Star Hill Rd., East Bernstadt on Monday night October 5, 2020 at approximately 11:34 PM.

The arrest occurred off US 25 approximately 1 mile north of London while deputies were conducting a drug investigation there. Deputies located a female subject in possession of a large amount of a crystal substance believed to be Methamphetamine, Suboxone, Oxycodone, Gabapentin, and a glass pipe containing suspected residue.

Doreen Napier was charged with:

  • Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
  • Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – second offense – Opiates
  • Trafficking in a controlled substance – second-degree – first offense- schedule 3 drugs
  • Possession of a controlled substance – third-degree
  • Prescription controlled substances not in proper container – first offense
  • Possession of Drug paraphernalia

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
