Failure to signal a turn leaves driver facing DUI & multiple drug charges in Laurel County, Ky.

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Justin Taylor arrested Charles Douglas Tuttle age 48 of Hawe Street, Corbin early Sunday morning August 30, 2020 at approximately 2:15 AM.

The arrest occurred on KY 1223 approximately 10 miles South of London following a traffic stop conducted on a red Chevrolet Monte Carlo that failed to signal a turn.

During the stop it was learned that the driver was operating on a DUI suspended operator's license.

In addition, the driver was found in possession of suspected Methamphetamine and pills.

Charles Douglas Tuttle was charged with:

  • Driving on DUI suspended license – first offense
  • Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of a controlled substance – third-degree
  • Failure to signal
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Prescription controlled substances not in proper container – first offense

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
