Jerry Mars Smith
Jerry was born on August 11, 1946, in Goose Creek, Manchester, KY. He passed away at Pikeville Medical Center on April 8, 2021, after a hard-fought battle with Covid 19. Jerry graduated from college with a teaching degree and taught school in Clay County spending many years at Goose Rock Elementary. He was a huge Kentucky Wildcats basketball fan and enjoyed squirrel hunting when he was a little boy.

Earl M. Owens, 80, of Manchester, KY, passed away Tuesday, April 6th, at the Advent Health Manchester Hospital. Earl was born in Clay County, KY on January 21, 1941, a son of the late Dan and Perlina Hornsby Owens. He was a member of the Clay County Cruisers.
Mr. James Chester “Jim” Woods, age 71 departed this life on Friday, April 2, 2021 at the Hazard ARH in Hazard, Kentucky. He was born on Saturday, December 31, 1949 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the union of Chester D. and Jessie Burt Woods. He was owner and operator of Woods Sanitation and a veteran of the United States Army.

Mr. Charles Owens, age 73 departed this life on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on Friday, August 15, 1947 in Barbourville, Kentucky to Lathern and Axie Crawford Owens. He was a retired coal miner and attended the Irvin Creek Holiness Church and His Amazing Grace Holiness Church.
