Mr. Ray Fields was born on Sunday, May 24, 1925 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Leon and Ora Greer Fields. He went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 7, 2015 in Laurel County, Kentucky at the blessed age of 90 years old.
He was a supervisor for Kentucky Mountain Housing, a member of the Greenbriar Presbyterian Church and he was a veteran of the United States Navy.
He leaves to mourn his passing his daughter: Phyllis Langley and her husband Wayne of London, Kentucky, his son: Donnie Fields and his wife: Barbara of Manchester, Kentucky, his grandchildren: Michael Langley, Shannon McCracken, Bridgette Napier, Courtney Sizemore, and Travis Fields. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and his brother: Anderson Fields of Louisville, Kentucky.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Leon and Ora Fields, his wife: Reffie Fields, and these brothers and sisters: Myrtle Noe, Belle Cupp, Homer Fields, Herbert “Hoot” Fields, Lewis Fields, and Clay Fields.
Funeral Services for Mr. Ray Fields will be conducted on Wednesday, June 10, at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Travis Fields and Bro. Wayne Langley will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Wyatt Cemetery in the Grace Community.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 9, at 7 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
