Sarah Smith, 97, of Manchester, was born May 10th, 1916, and passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at her home.
She is survived by her children, Nina Smith, Freda Smith, and June Hubbard, all of Manchester, Annie Sipf of Sellersburg, IN, Veda Eversole of Girdler, KY, and Mae Hubbard of London, along with twenty one grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Alvis and Julie Smith, and these children, Ray T. Smith, Tommie Lee Smith, Faye Smith, Jean Smith, and Baby Ruth Smith.
She also leaves a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her death.
Funeral services for Sarah Smith will be held 2 PM Saturday at the Britton Funeral Home chapel with Ronnie Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Speed Smith Cemetery on Gooserock. Visitation will be after 12 Noon Saturday.
