Maude Hensley, 93, of Elk Creek, passed away January 18th, 2014 at her home.
She is survived by her husband Charles Hensley and the following children: Teddy Hensley and wife Opal, Fogertown, Chad Hensley and wife Arlene, Middlesboro, Wayne Hensley and wife Diane, London, J.D. Hensley and wife Billie Jo, Somerset, Donald Hensley and wife Carolan, London, Bobbie Jean Couch, Elk Creek, Linda Couch, Elk Creek, Joyce Collins and husband Bart, London, and Evelyn Ledford and husband Randy, Elk Creek.
She is also survived by one brother Donald Fields, Hazard, and 3 sisters, Mable Riechert, FL, Doris Harmsworth, Dayton, OH, and Betty Bowling, Dayton, OH.
She is preceded in death by her parents Benjamin Tug Fields and Nora Fields, one great grandchild Anthony Napier, one grandchild Eric Collins, and the following brothers and sisters: Ray Lee Fields, Kelly Fields, Curtis Fields, Alford Fields, Herman Fields, and Goldie Sizemore.
She also leaves 24 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren as well as a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her death.
The funeral service will be held 11 A.M. Monday January 20th, at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Curtis Wagers and Michael Ledford officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 6 PM Sunday at the Britton Funeral Home.
