Glenneva Combs Napier

 

Glenneva Combs Napier, 80, was born May 8, 1933 to the union of Hobart and Fannie Byrd Combs, and passed away September 5th, 2013 at her home.

She was a member of Martha Clark #201 order of Eastern Star for 59 years and a member of the Union Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Pam Hensley, and husband, Bennie, Stephanie Smith, and husband, Kyle, and a very special grandson, Glendon Ethan Smith.

Also surviving are these brothers and sisters, Grant Combs, and wife, Mapiel, of Myrtle Point, Oregon, James Combs, and wife, Lila, of Crane Creek, Don Combs, and wife, Jackie, of South Lebanon, Ohio, Kathleen Ball, and husband, Estill, of West Harrison, Indiana, Julia Roberts, and husband, Clifton, of Hamilton, Ohio, Christine Combs, of Teges, Diane Stidham, of Morning View, KY, and a very special sister-in-law, Myrtle Napier, of Vandalia, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lawrence Napier, one daughter, Charlene Napier Mullins, and her parents, Hobart and Fannie Combs, and three brothers, John, Willard, and Gary Lee Combs.

She also leaves a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her death.

Funeral services for Glenneva Combs Napier will be held 2 PM Sunday at the Britton Funeral Chapel with Bob Burchette officiating. Burial will follow in the Cradle Bowl Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Saturday at the Britton Funeral Home. There will be an Eastern Star service at 7 PM during visitation hours.
