Vernon France, 58, of Island Creek, was born, February 23rd, 1955, passed away, Monday, July 8th, 2013, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
He is survived by his wife, Linda France, and these daughters: Tina France, of Corbin, Bonnie Meeks and husband, Ronnie, of Barbourville, and Lindsay Sester, of Manchester.
He is also survived by 3 grandchildren: Auston Arlee France, Lil Ronnie Meeks, and Harley Dakota Meeks, and the following brothers and sisters: Marshall France, Franklin D. France, Ernest France, Alphia Henson, and Stella Hacker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rant and Cora France, and these brothers and sisters: Charles France, Lester France, Lucy Arnett, and Hester Smallwood.
Funeral services for Vernon France will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Britton Funeral Home chapel with Cecil Benge and Donnie Mathis officiating. Burial will follow in the France Cemetery at Add Hollow.
Visitation will be after 6:00 p.m. Thursday at the Britton Funeral Home.
