Alvin Smith, 65, of Manchester, was born, March 22nd, 1948, passed away, Sunday, June 30th, 2013.
He is survived by his children: Todd Smith, and wife, Clara, Michelle Henson, and husband, Jerry all of Lockards Creek, and these grandchildren, Brooke Smallwood Collins, JJ Henson, and Alex Henson.
He is also survived by one brother Everett Smith, of Big Creek.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Lorna Smith, two brothers, Monroe Smith, and Charles C. Smith, and one sister, Rena Jackson.
He also leaves a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his death.
Funeral services for Alvin Smith will be held 2 PM Wednesday at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Speed Smith Cemetery at Gooserock. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at the Britton Funeral Home.
