Mrs. Mollie Jean Jackson, age 74 of Sally Little Road in Manchester, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013 at her home.
She was born June 23, 1938 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Tommy and Suzanna Collins Henson. She was a housewife and was a member of the Beech Creek United Methodist Church.
Surviving her are the following children: Russell and Paula Jackson, Rebecca and Oakley Vaughn, Darrell and Linda Jackson, and Stephen and Tonya Jackson. Also surviving are the following grandchildren: Tommy and Leeann, Chase, Payton, and Breonna, these great grandchildren: Stephanie, Stephen, Mollie, Tessa, Shawn, Isaiah, Elijah, and Sherry, and these brothers and sisters: Willie Henson, Eva Phillips, Don Henson, Charles Monroe Henson, Tommy Henson, Jr., Patricia Smith, Ruth Henson, Johnny Henson, Dennis Henson, Joseph Henson, Donna Henson, and Martha Blakenship.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Tommy and Suzanna Henson, her husband; Tester Jackson, her brother Butch, and her sister: Joyce.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Mollie Jean Jackson will be conducted on Wednesday, May 22, at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. George Roberts and Rev. J. C. Stevens will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith-Jackson Cemetery in the Lockard’s Creek Community.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
