Paul Nicholson, age 77 passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at his home. He was born on Saturday, November 29, 1947 at Grace, Kentucky to William Shelby Nicholson, Jr. and Dorothy Deaton Nicholson. He was a farmer, well driller, worked for RAMCO and worked with heavy equipment.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Linda Howard Nicholson, his son: Paul Nicholson and wife Leslie, his daughters: Kristy Fields and fiancé Anthony Combs and Michelle Garland as well as his grandchildren: Jack Thomas Nicholson, Isabelle Kate Nicholson, Cameron Daniel Johnson, Kelsie Lynn Johnson, Robert Paul Bozeman, Rachel Bryanna Hammons and Jacob Andrew Hammons. Also surviving are his great grandchildren: Kade Daniel Johnson, Jace Issacs and Lily Isaacs as well as his brothers: Dillard Nicholson, Jan Nicholson and Les Nicholson and his sister: Vanda Rice and his beloved cat, Snowball.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents: William Shelby Nicholson, Jr. and Dorothy Nicholson, his son: Tate Hammons and his brother: Aubrey Nicholson.
Funeral Services for Paul Nicholson will be conducted on Friday, February 21, 2025 at 3 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Wayne House will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Coldiron Cemetery in the Laurel Creek Community.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday, February 21, after 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
