Donald Keith Nicholson was born in London, Ky. on July 20th, 1952 to parents George Stanley and Wilma Bowling Nicholson. Don departed the earth unexpectedly and was called home by the Lord on Saturday February 15th due to a tragic accident during a flash flood.
Don was the pilar of his family, a kind, loving, generous and supportive son, husband, father, brother, uncle and father in law. Don was active in his community, along with his wife Ellen, for more than 20 yrs, lending a helping hand to any human or animal alike. Don was a man of faith, believing in and loving the Lord until his final day. Don will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Don was preceded in death by his loving mother Wilma Bowling Nicholson and his devoted wife of more than 30 yrs, Patricia Ellen Hoskins Nicholson.
Don is survived by his father, George Stanley Nicholson of London, sons, Adam Nicholson (wife Sarah McCuen) of Manchester, his son Joseph Kash Nicholson of Manchester, his Brother Joe Nicholson (wife Vickie), of London, his nephew Keith Nicholson (wife Kelly, daughters Josie and MaryKate) of London, his sister Jennifer Nicholson (husband Chris, sons Walt and Rhett) of London and many loved ones and friends in Manchester and London.
Funeral services will be held at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, Ky. Wednesday, February 26th. Family will be received at 5:00 pm with service being open to all others at 6:00 pm and a faith service to send Don to his heavenly home at 7:00 pm with Wayne House officiating. All are welcome.
