Ollie Murphy, age 81 departed this life on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at the Landmark of Laurel Creek. She was born on Thursday, July 29, 1943 to John and Susan Curry. She worked with Save the Children program and was a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church.
She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter: Linda Senters and husband Mark; these grandchildren: Amy Whitehead and husband Tremayne, Marla Hacker, Brent Senters and wife Trish, Brandon Senters and wife Kaitlyn, Brittany Fultz and husband Joey, Jill Napier and husband Steven; these great grandchildren: Kendalyn Bowling, Rusty Bowling, Marlie Hacker, Carter Hacker, McKinley Burns, Leah Riley, Noah Napier, Kashton and Ryker Senters, Kendall, Peyton and Evan Dople. Also surviving is a special nephew: Jimmy Curry and wife Charlotte, and daughter-in-law: LeShay Murphy.
She is preceded in death by her parents: John and Susan Curry; her husband: Jimmy Murphy; her son: Jeffrey Murphy; her daughter: Kendall Stewart and these brothers: Edward Gregory, Reid Curry, Al Curry, Hugh Curry and Willie.
Funeral Services for Ollie Murphy will be conducted on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Rick Holt will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Curry Cemetery in the Curry Branch Community
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
