Mrs. Cathy Swafford, age 61 went to her heavenly home on Sunday, October 20, 2024. She was born on Friday, October 11, 1963 in Indiana to the union of Jakie Clarkston and Norma Jean Lunsford Clarkston Sams. She was a member of the Trinity Lighthouse Church and was a retired manager for Dollar General.
She leaves to mourn her passing her loving husband: Ronald “Ronnie” Swafford, her beloved children: Jeanne Smallwood and husband Brandon and Bill Swafford and wife Alicia as well as her precious grandchildren: Charlie Marshall, Colton Swafford, Paige Madden and James Madden. Also left to cherish her memory is her loving mother: Norma Jean Sams, her mother-in-law: Audrey Swafford and her siblings: Debby Baker and husband Eddie, Dale Wayne Clarkston and wife Patricia and James Clarkston and her brother-in-law: Donald Swafford and wife Kate.
She is preceded in death by her father: Jakie Clarkston, her father-in-law: Charlie Swafford, her grandparents: James and Edna Mae Clarkston and Will and Anna Mae Lunsford, and her grandchildren: Branson, Chanslee, Scotlyn, Baby S, Laincy and Shauntay Smallwood.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Cathy Swafford will be conducted on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 11 AM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Wade England will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Massey Cemetery in the Fall Rock Community.
The family will receive friends and loved ones after 6 PM on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
