Clarence Randall Jackson, age 92 was born on Friday, April 1, 1932 in Manchester, Kentucky to Clarence and Nannie H. Hopper Jackson. He passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024 at his home.
He worked in the coal mines and was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and the United States Army and served in the Korean War. He was awarded many medals including a Purple Heart.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Clarence and Nannie H. Hopper Jackson, his son: Kelvin Jackson, his sister: Cecil Jackson Valentine, 2 sons-in-law: Henry Garrison, Jr. and George Trieschman.
He is survived by is children: Kerry Jackson and wife Jean, Karen Chesnut and husband Jimmy, Laura Trieschman, Donna Garrison and Randy Jackson and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends, his sister: Thelma Jean Jackson and his special niece who cared for him for many years: Thressa Valentine.
Funeral Services for Clarence Randall Jackson will be conducted on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. James Wagers and Rev. Tim Reid will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Saturday after 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
