Larry Hayre, born on September 11, 1955, in Manchester, KY, peacefully passed away on Wednesday August 28, 2024, at the age of 68. On January 26, 1979, he married Phyllis Sue, and they cherished 36 years together. The couple were members of the Lebanon United Baptist Church.
Larry is survived by his son Darrell Sean Hayre and a large loving family, including nine siblings: Barbara Jackson, Roger Hayre (wife Sandra), Glenn Hayre, Ronda Whitehead, Cherie Everhart (husband Bryan), Keith Hayre (wife Jennifer), Mark Hayre (wife Katrina), Chris Hayre, Jessica Robinson (husband Roger). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Sue Hayre, and his parents, Delaney and Edna Hayre.
Larry will be fondly remembered by countless friends and loved ones. His deep faith in the Lord and his church community, his passion for farming, his humility, his friendship, and his unconditional love for his family will always be cherished.
A funeral service honoring Larry's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at London Funeral Home, with Pastor Wayne House and Roger Hayre officiating. Burial will follow at A.R. Dyche Memorial Park. Visitation will be held after 6:00 pm on Friday, August 30, 2024.
The following individuals will serve as pallbearers: Benard Webb, Terry Smith, Jay House, Keaton Hayre, Jansen Robinson and Christopher Neely.
