Geneva Barrett, 88, widow of Henry Barrett, passed away on August 10th, 2024, at her residence in Oneida, KY. Geneva was born on November 17th, 1935 in Oneida, KY a daughter to the late Willie and Versie Allen. She was a faithful member of Road Run Christian Church. She enjoyed gardening, canning and having family gatherings. Geneva loved her family and loved having them all together in one place.
She is survived by her children, Diane (Rick) Roberts, Charles (Pam) Barrett, Marlene Gipson, Joyce (Daymond) Byrd, Shelia (David) Tillery, Mike (Susie) Barrett.
She was blessed with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many loving family members and friends
She is proceeded in death by her husband, parents, one son, James Barrett, one brother Conard Allen, two sisters Kathlene Allen, Carrie (Homer) Owen’s and one Son-in-law Larry Gabbard.
Services will be held at 1:30 PM on Thursday, August 15th at Britton Funeral Home, with Bernard Ward and Brian Collett officiating. Burial will follow at the Allen Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM on Thursday, August 15th at Britton Funeral Home.
