Johnny Napier, age 86 passed to his heavenly home on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at the AdventHealth Manchester. He was born on Thursday, May 19, 1938 in Manchester to the union of Jimmy and Rachel Carmack Napier. Johnny was a retired Ohio Operating Engineer and a faithful member of the Island Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife: Maggie Napier, his sons: Darrell Napier and Bill Campbell, his sister: Drucie Brown and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Jimmy and Rachel Napier, his children: Johnny Ray Napier, Molly Napier, Mark Napier, Raymond Napier and Kim Frederick, his sisters and brothers: Molly, Cleo, Ella, Willie, Jim, Felix, Colonel, Charlie, Kenneth and Hamblin.
Funeral Services for Johnny Napier will be conducted on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. George Grigsby will be presiding. He will be laid to rest in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Saturday after 12:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
