Sandra Owens, age 72 went to her heavenly home on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Hospice Care Center in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born on Thursday, May 8, 1952 in Manchester, Kentucky to Daugh and Lina Walker Curry. She was a homemaker and attended His Amazing Grace Holiness Church and the Urban Creek Holiness Church.
She leaves to mourn her passing her children: Travis Owens and his wife Emily, Brianna Nicole Owens and Desiray Marie Lee Owens, her sister: Janice Burns, Linda Roberts and husband Mike and Alice Faye Saylor as well as her brother: Billy Ray Curry and his wife Jessie as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Daugh and Lina Curry, her husband: Charles Owens, her sons: Timothy Ray Owens, Charles Steven Owens and Jeffrey Wayne Owens, her brothers: Jack Curry and James “BoBo” Curry and her nephew: Doug Burns.
Funeral Services for Sandra Owens will be conducted on Monday, July 29, 2024 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Don Hubbard will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Monday after 12 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
