Charles E. Henson, 72, of London, KY, passed away Wednesday, April 24th, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Charles was born in Clay County, KY, on August 29th, 1951, a son of the late Bill Henson and Georgie Gray Henson.
Charles was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He loved being on the tractor, loved to garden, operating equipment, working on equipment, and spending time with his great-grandchild.
He is survived by his wife, Diana Smith Henson.
He is also survived by his son, Charles Dwayne Henson and wife Lisa of London, KY; as well as his grandchildren, Ryan Henson and wife Kristen and Amber Whittemore and husband Shane; great-grandson, Asher Dwayne Henson; his brothers and sisters: Robin Henson and wife Sonya of Manchester, KY, Bill Henson Jr. of Manchester, KY, Baxter Henson and wife Katherine of Burning spring, KY, Loretta Gilbert, Josephine smith of Manchester, KY, and Bobby Jo Henson and wife Loretta of Manchester, KY.
In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his brother, Henry Henson and sister, Geneva Henson. Also, by his brothers-in-law, Don Gilbert and Stanley smith.
Services for Charles will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 30th, at Britton Funeral Home, with Vic Browning and Thomas Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in the A.R. Dyche Cemetery in London, KY.
Visitation for Charles will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, April 29th, at Britton Funeral Home.
