James Kendall “Kenny” Baker, age 58 departed this life on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky. He was born on Saturday, May 22, 1965 in Manchester, Kentucky to Harlan Baker and Margaret (Burns) Baker Arnett. He was retired from Mill Wright as a diesel mechanic and he was pastor at Antepast Baptist Church.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Connie (Burns) Baker; one son: James Mitchell Baker and Sharon, two grandchildren: Justin White and Lexy White; his mother: Margaret Arnett; these brothers and sister: Timothy H. Baker, Jeff Baker, Sandra Baker, Steven Baker, Chris Marcum, and John Ohe. Also surviving are special cousins: Tom Gay and Kevin Gay, Randy Gay, his niece: Brittany Burns Bowling and his nephew: Nicholas Burns and a host of other nieces and nephews and special friends.
He is preceded in death by his father: Harlan Baker, his sister: Rebecca Lemons and his grandmother: Elsie Burns.
Funeral Services for James Kendall “Kenny” Baker will be conducted on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 1:00 P. M. at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Scott Williams and Rev. Robert Rice will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Cemetery in the Bullskin Community.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 after 12:00 P. M. at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
