Marshall France, 82, of Manchester, KY, passed away Tuesday, March 12th at the AdventHealth Manchester Hospital. Marshall was born in Manchester, KY, on September 9th, 1941, a son of the late Ransom and Cory Stewart France.
Marshall is preceded in death by his wife, Nettie “Cookie” Johnson France.
He is survived by his children; Sheila Smith and husband Henry Earl Smith of Manchester, Frank France and wife Debbie France of Ohio, Lesa Hubbard and husband Richard Hubbard of Manchester, Michael France of Manchester, and Linda France and Husband Jose Tzanahua of Somerset.
The following grandchildren: Katie Love and husband Travis Love of Manchester, Katlin Nicole Hubbard of Manchester, Brian Hubbard and wife Shy Hubbard of Manchester, Marshall Ryan Hubbard of Manchester, Ashley Curry and husband Donald Curry of Ohio, Jessica Mitch of Ohio, Gary Wayne of Ohio, Michael D. France Jr. of Ohio, Emma France of Manchester, Jozalyn France of Manchester, Isabella Segui of Lexington, Lili Ramirez of Somerset, and Yesica Ramirez of Somerset; 13 great-grandchildren; and the following brother and sisters: Earnest France of Manchester, Stella Hacker of Manchester, and Alphie Henson of Manchester.
In addition to his wife and parents, Marshall is preceded in death by the following brothers and sisters: Veron France, Charles France, Franklyn D. France, Lester France, Lucy Arnett, and Hester France.
Services for Marshall will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, March 16th, at Britton Funeral Home, with Don Hubbard and Dudley Lynch officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation for Marshall will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, March 15th, at Britton Funeral Home.
