Ruby Samples, 96, of Manchester, KY, passed away Saturday, March 2nd, at the Landmark of Laurel Creek Nursing Home. Ruby was born in Oneida, KY, on December 26th, 1927, the daughter of the late Beve and Sarah Callahan Foreman.
Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, Ed Samples.
She is survived by her son and daughter: Roger Samples and wife Reecia of Manchester and Peggy Brown of Oneida.
She is also survived by her grandchildren: Bryan Samples and wife Kendra, Brandon Samples and wife Celia, John Edward Brown and wife Amandine, and Lee Tyler Brown; the following great-grandchildren: Trevor Samples, Cole Samples, Daisy Samples, Ella Samples, Anna Samples, and Jenna Samples. As well as her daughter-in law, Susie Samples.
In addition to her parents and husband, Ruby is preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Samples; her son-in-law, John Brown; and the following brother and sisters: Rex Foreman, Ora Sams, Cleo Stone, and June Hacker.
Services for Ruby will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 6th, at Britton Funeral Home, with George Davidson officiating. Burial will follow in the Harts Branch Cemetery on Beech Creek.
Visitation for Ruby will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, March 5th, at Britton Funeral Home.
