Melissa Faye Bowling, 51, of Manchester, KY, passed away Tuesday, February 27th, at the AdventHealth Manchester Hospital. Melissa was born in London, KY on March 3, 1972, a daughter of Sallie Henson Bowling and the late Gilbert Bowling.
Melissa is survived by her son, Steven Ryan Bowling, and her mother, Sallie Bowling, both of Manchester.
She is also survived by her brothers: Gary Bowling of Manchester, Ricky Bowling of Manchester, Roger Bowling of Booneville, Jason Bowling of Manchester, Wayne Bowling of Manchester, and Timothy Bowling of Lexington; her nephew, Timothy Wayne Bowling; and by several other nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, Melissa was preceded in death by her brothers: Jerry Bowling, Freddy Bowling, and James Bowling.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 3rd at Britton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Henson-Bowling Cemetery on Hector.
Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM on Saturday, March 2nd at Britton Funeral Home.
