Marvin Hensley, 82, of Manchester, KY, passed away Tuesday, February 20th, at his home. Marvin was born on April 6, 1941, a son of the late Gilbert and Nola Day Hensley.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Byrd Hensley.
Marvin is survived by his children: Marvin Hensley, Jr. and wife Bobbie Jo of Manchester, Tammy Hacker and Bobby Webb of Oneida, Vickie Smallwood and husband Randell of Manchester, Penny Smith and husband Dale of Manchester, and Jeannie Smallwood and husband Dinzel of Nicholasville.
He is also survived by his brother and sisters: Benny Hensley of Manchester, Vada Hensley of Richmond, and Evelyn Byrd of Manchester; and by 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, Marvin was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy McQueen; and his brother and sister: Raleigh Hensley and Kathleen Bishop.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 22nd at the Ells Branch Baptist Church, with Tim Ball officiating. Burial will follow at the Hensley Cemetery on Middle Ground Road.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 22nd at the Ells Branch Baptist Church.
