Norene McCormick, age 63 passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born on Saturday, January 7, 1961 in Manchester to Orbin and Louannie Hubbard Swafford.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband: Rickie McCormick, her children: Cynthia Wallace, Lorena Smallwood, Rickie McCormick, Jr., Samantha McCormick and John Travis McCormick as well as several grandchildren. Also surviving is her mother: Louannie Swafford and her brothers: Lester Swafford and his wife Patricia and children: Orbin and Bode David and David Swafford and his child: Marie Stevens, her uncle-in-law: Gene McCormick, several other aunts and uncles and her nieces: Melissa Smith, Kaylee Swafford and Brianna Swafford.
She is preceded in death by her father: Orbin Swafford, her sister: Lorene Couch and her brother: Jimmy Darrell Swafford.
Funeral Services for Norene McCormick will be conducted on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Randy Cox will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Swafford Cemetery in the Buzzard Community.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday after 12 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
