William “Bill” Goins, age 77 departed this life on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at his home. He was born on Monday, September 3, 1946 in Manchester to Daugh and Lillie Belle Minton Goins. He was Clay County Constable for 20 years and Former Chief of the Horse Creek Fire Department.
He leaves to mourn his passing his children: Tammy Davis and husband Mike, David Goins and wife Norma, Melissa Vann and Billie Gray. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Amber Gray, Travis Sizemore, Victor Goins, Victoria Collins, Brandon Goins, Jacy Goins, William Henson and Amethyst Davis, his great grandchildren: Paisley Henson, Kinsley Henson, Emma Henson, Liam Henson, Kaden Sizemore, Delora Sizemore and Isabella Sizemore as well as his brothers and sisters: Frank Goins, Gladys Marcum, Lucy May Jordan, Delia Jane Coleman and Sandra Hubbard.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Daugh and Lillie Belle Goins, his wife: Delora Goins, his daughter: Karen Hughes, his sister: Manilee Smallwood and his brother: Vernon Goins.
Funeral Services for William “Bill” Goins will be conducted on Thursday, January 25, 21014 at 1:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. George David Blair will be presiding. He will be laid to rest next to his wife Delora in the Minton Cemetery in the Brock Lane Community.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
