Charlene Nienaber, 88, of Manchester, KY, passed away Sunday, January 21st, at the AdventHealth Manchester Hospital. Charlene was born in Boone County, KY, on August 28th, 1935, a daughter of the late Chester and Elizabeth Hicks Maupin.
Charlene is preceded in death by her husband, Herman Nienaber and by her son, Robert Gentry.
She is survived by her brother, Chester Maupin of Ohio; she also leaves behind a host of friends and family.
In addition to her husband and parents, Charlene is preceded in death by the following brother and sister: Raymond Maupin, Phyliss Martin, Maureen Miller, Lobeda Garrett, Esther Dunkin, Frankie Rumpler, Hazel Robinson, Clara Hurley, Lucy Sowder, and Mamie Morris.
Services for Charlene will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 24th, at Britton Funeral Home, with Chris Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Martin Cemetery.
