Linda Kaye Wagers, age 70 departed this life on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at the St. Joseph Hospital in London. She was born on Sunday, August 23, 1953 in Manchester to Ed and Malvery Chandler Burns.
She leaves to mourn her passing her daughters: Brenda J. Partin and Thelma Hensley, her son: Alfred Cornett and wife Lisa, her grandchildren: Brandy Thrope and husband Dwight, Joshua Cornett and fiancée Leah Flannery, Lakeisha Cornett, Crystal Cornett, Kyle Cornett, Kristin Smith and husband Richard, Berlinda Cornett, Christopher Hensley and Randy Jr. Hensley, her great grandchildren: Amelia Smith and Holden Cornett, Atlas Cornett and Gracie Thrope and her sister: Alice Sandlin and husband Earl.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Ed and Malvery Burns and Leonard Cornett, who she loved as her own son.
Funeral Services for Linda Kaye Wagers will be conducted on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Brad Stevens and Rev. Joey Burns will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Martin Cemetery in the Red Bird Community.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday after 12 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
