Willie Simpson, 77, of Manchester, KY, passed away Saturday, December 23rd, at his home. Willie was born in Red Bird, KY, on September 25th, 1946, a son of the late Wade and Mary Asher Simpson.
Willie is preceded in death by his wife, Irene Smith Simpson.
He is survived by his children: Donnie (Dolly) Simpson of Mill Creek and Rhonda (Dexter) Smith of Barbourville.
He is also survived by his sister, Geneva Smith of Barbourville; as well as the following grandchildren: Shannon Garrison and Tracy, Patricia Brumley and Jerry, Dora Parks, Ashley Simmons and Kevin, Simpson, and Matthew Smith; and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his two sons, Kelly Simpson and Randy Simpson. By his brothers and sister, Viola Jackson, Herman Simpson, and Pearl Edwards.
Services for Willie will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 30th, at the Hubbard Missionary Baptist Church on Mill Creek, with Herman Mills officiating. Burial will follow at the Hubbard Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation for Willie will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 30th, at the Hubbard Missionary Baptist Church.
